The desk started where the ledger is simple: one asset, one chain, a habit of reading instead of chasing.
In 2017 the timeline was loud. Coins launched every week. The stack that lasted did not start as a basket. It started with Bitcoin — how a block is found, why scarcity is the product, and what an exchange is actually for.
The rule from that year still sits on the wall: learn the base layer until you can explain it without a chart. Price is a scoreboard. The chain is the game.
That is the whole origin. Not a secret. A sequence. Bitcoin first. Everything else later, on purpose.
